SundarbanB.Ed College and Sundarban Primary Teachers Training Institute has been established with the object of producing well trained Primary, Secondary and higher secondary, level teachers and functions as a big family with teacher-student bonds that endure beyond and long after the students leave the college.The institute has an extremely well qualified and experienced faculty.

The Institute recognised by NCTE and affiliated to The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA), formerly affiliated to The University of Calcutta, the collegehas been conducting B. Ed programme since 2015. The college has also obtained the approval from NCTE and affiliated to West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) for D.El Ed course from 2017.
