Sundarban B.Ed College observed Har Ghar Tiranga on 14 August 2026.
Today, Sundarban B.Ed. College and Sundarban P.T.T.I., with the gracious presence and participation of the respected professors, non-teaching staffs, and students, observed “Partition of Bengal Remembrance Day” and organised the “Har Ghar Tiranga” programme.
The programme was organised to observe 14 August as a Day of Remembrance of the Partition of Bengal, remembering the sufferings and hardships endured by the people of West Bengal during the period of Partition and Independence.
The programme highlighted various major aspects of this historical tragedy, particularly the experiences of displacement, loss, suffering, and the social, cultural, and economic impact of Partition on the people of West Bengal. It also focused on the courage, resilience, and sacrifices of those who faced the consequences of Partition.
The programme was observed through a variety of activities, including speeches, poetry recitations, patriotic dances, and patriotic songs.
